About this policy
This policy explains how SMDJ Ltd, trading as Medica Specialist Medical Recruitment (“Medica”), uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. For information about how Medica uses personal information, read the Privacy notice.
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies can store or access information in browser session storage, browser history state or temporary memory.
Current technology inventory
The Version 11 production build was audited before this policy was prepared. No analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps, marketing trackers or other non-essential tracking technologies were found. Poppins is hosted with the site and is not loaded from an external font service.
Cloudflare security cookie
Name: __cf_bm
Provider: Cloudflare, set in a first-party context
Purpose: security and bot management
Duration: approximately 30 minutes after inactivity
Classification: strictly necessary
Browser session storage
Names: __vinext_hard_navigation_target__ and __vinext_rsc_initial_reload__
Provider: the Medica website framework
Purpose: preventing reload loops and recovering navigation when needed
Duration: the browser session, or removed earlier when no longer needed
Classification: strictly necessary
Browser history and temporary memory
Names: __vinext_previousNextUrl, __vinext_scrollX and __vinext_scrollY, together with a short-lived in-memory navigation cache
Provider: the Medica website framework
Purpose: navigation reliability and restoring the correct scroll position
Duration: browser history session or short-lived page memory
Classification: strictly necessary
Form submission identifier
When you use a Medica form, a unique submission identifier is created temporarily in page memory and sent with that submission. It is used to prevent accidental duplicate processing. It is not placed in cookie, local storage or session storage and is not used to track browsing.
Why there is no cookie banner
The audited build uses only technologies needed to provide, secure or reliably operate the service. PECR consent is not required for strictly necessary storage or access, so Medica does not display a cookie-consent banner merely for appearance.
The current private owner-authentication layer may differ from public browsing. Medica will complete a further cookie and browser-storage scan after the custom domain is connected and public access is enabled. If that scan identifies any non-essential technology, it will not be activated for visitors until a compliant consent choice is available and this policy has been updated.
Technologies not used at launch
Medica will not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, heatmaps, advertising trackers or other non-essential tracking at launch. If this changes, Medica will review the PECR consent position before the technology is enabled.
Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technology may affect security, access or website functions.
